Anti-corrosion Mortars
Anti-corrosion
mortars have been designed for bedding and jointing corrosion resistant
brick and tile linings.
General Information
Corrosion
resistant brick and tile linings protect sealing
systems against mechanical, chemical and thermal overloads. Due to a
certain degree of porosity in bricks, tiles and mortars and thus their
permeability and moisture absorption, the application of a sealing systems prior to tile or brick lining is
essential. These mortars are applicable for floors, tanks, basins, pits,
ducts, pickling tanks, reactors, vessels, columns, sumps and other
structures. Corrosion resistant mortars are used for:
- bedding and jointing (for flat-joint and struck-joint
of tiling)
- wet jointing (for struck-joint tiling)
